Too proud are we?
Too often we don't realize what we have until it's gone. Too often we're too stubborn to say, 'Sorry, I was wrong.' Too often it seems we hurt the ones closest to our hearts, and we let the most foolish things tear us apart. It is a sad reality but pride has destroyed a lot of good relationships. I personally don't believe that there should be one submissive person in a union; both parties should be willing to submit to an extent. It is absolutely ridiculous to think that one sided submission will solve a relationship's problems. More than likely it will create a disgruntled partner whose rebellion may prove to be detrimental to the union. If a partner snobs or bullies another, he/she should apologize and not think the other inferior. One should use every opportunity to express appreciation for his/her partner. It does not have to be a holiday, birthday etc; everyday should be special and pride should take a backseat when you are with your partner. Once you truly love and care for someone, submission should not be hard to do; it may save you from losing something and someone wonderful.
